JIZA DOWNLOAD MANAGER
FREEWARE END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This agreement is between you and Jiza ("we", "us") and covers Jiza
Download Manager, including JizaDM.exe, its browser extension, icons and
documentation (together, "the Software"). By downloading, installing or
using the Software you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it,
do not use the Software and delete your copy.
1. WHAT YOU MAY DO
a. Use the Software free of charge, on any number of computers, for
personal, educational or business purposes.
b. Make copies of the official, unmodified Software and give them to
others, provided you charge nothing for it and keep this agreement
and the third-party notices with every copy.
2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
a. Sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, or bundle it with a
product or service you charge for, without our written permission.
b. Modify, adapt, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer
the Software, except where applicable law expressly allows it
despite this restriction.
c. Remove or alter any copyright notice, trademark or this agreement.
d. Distribute modified copies, or present the Software as your own.
3. OWNERSHIP
The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights, title and
intellectual property in the Software that this agreement does not
expressly give you. "Jiza" and the Jiza logo are our marks.
4. YOUR DOWNLOADS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
The Software is a tool for transferring files. You alone are
responsible for what you download and share with it, and for having
the right to do so under copyright law, the terms of the sites you use
and the laws of your country. The Software does not remove or bypass
DRM or other copy protection, and you must not use it to try.
5. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
a. The Software includes open-source components under their own
licenses, listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Those licenses govern
those components.
b. When you choose to download videos from websites or to merge video
and audio, the Software may fetch yt-dlp and FFmpeg from their
official project releases on GitHub. They are separate programs,
not part of the Software, and are used under their own licenses
(yt-dlp: The Unlicense; FFmpeg builds: GNU GPL).
c. Torrent downloads connect your computer to other peers on the
BitTorrent network, who can see your IP address.
6. PRIVACY
The Software does not collect analytics or send us any information
about you or your downloads. It contacts only the addresses you
download from, the tool releases described in section 5b when you use
those features, and torrent peers and trackers when you download a
torrent. Settings and download history stay on your computer in
%AppData%\JizaDM.
7. UPDATES
We may release new versions. This agreement applies to them unless a
newer agreement comes with them.
8. NO WARRANTY
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN
RISK. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF
DATA, PROFITS OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN
IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE. BECAUSE THE SOFTWARE IS
FREE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO ZERO, OR TO THE LOWEST AMOUNT
THE LAW ALLOWS.
10. TERMINATION
This agreement ends automatically if you break it. When it ends, stop
using the Software and delete all copies. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 11
continue after it ends.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the
federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai. The
courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about it.
If a court finds part of this agreement unenforceable, the rest still
applies.
